Guiding and blocking bearings
We deliver guiding and blocking bearings, which are examples of special bearings. They transfer only horizontal forces and do not transfer vertical forces.
Guiding and blocking bearings enable vertical forces to be transferred, together with horizontal translations and rotations. They may (or not) enable horizontal translation in a single direction. They offer small resistance during translations and ensure optimal, fixed guiding or blocking action. They may cooperate with bearings transferring vertical loads and bending moments. We produce guiding and blocking bearings according to the PN-EN 1337-8:2007 standard.
